ENGINES

COMBUSTION ENGINES

Spark plug: lights up the fuel into the piston tube.

Piston: makes pressure by being moved by the fuel explosions.

Air box: cools down the engine and provides the necessary air for the combustion to occur.

Oil pump: distributes oil to lubricate the engine.

Fuel injectors: injects fuel into the whole where the piston is moving.

Pulley: transmits the movement that has been produced by the engine.

How does it work?

The air goes into the combustion cam where the fuel enters too, and the spark plug ignites and then an explosion is produced. The explosion generates a force that makes the piston go down, and then the exhaust valve permits the gases to escape.

 ELECTRIC MOTOR

Electric motors generate magnetic fields with electric current through a coil. The magnetic field then causes a force with a magnet that causes movement or spinning that runs the motor.

THE UNIVERSE

5 INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE UNIVERSE

1. You can detect the cosmic background radiation
Cosmic background radiation is the heat of the primitive universe, after the big-bang, 13.7 billion years ago. This cosmic radiation exists in all the universe, and amazingly we can use an old television to catch it. When a television is not tuned to a station you can see the black and white squares moving, around 1% of this interference is made up cosmic background radiation.

2. The nearest habitable planet is at 4 light-years.
The closest habitable planet is on the star system Alpha Centauri that is at 4.3 years-light, so if we want to leave the earth, we will have to improve our technology.

3. Neutron stars and their weight
A Neutron star is a type of star that is made by neutrons and it’s close so become a black hole but it won’t do it.
Do you know what the weight of a neutron star is? A star of this type can measure only as a pinhead and it would have the same weight as a million tons.

4. It takes 225 million years for our Sun to travel round the galaxy
Whilst the Earth and the other planets within our solar system orbit around the Sun, the Sun itself is orbiting around the centre of our galaxy, the Milky Way. It takes the Sun 225 million years to perform a complete circuit of the galaxy. The last time the Sun was in its current position in the galaxy the super-continent Pangea was just about starting to break apart and early dinosaurs were making an appearance.

5. The Universe and the H bombs
It is known that 65 million years ago, when the Universe was created, there was an explosion, the Big Bang, and this explosion was like 10 million hydrogen bombs.

FATE OR CHANCE

FATE OR CHANCE

These two words have a different meanings, but some people tend to use it as one, and that is a mistake. You can believe twofold: chance brings you to fate or fate is due to chance.

On one hand, fate is a supernatural force which is performed before the human beings and the situations that happen during our lifetime. It is said that it is already written, so fate is thought to be unchangeable. For instance, you casually found your soulmate in a friend’s party. Your fate was to meet your friend, so that he would invite you to his party and get to know the love of your life, it must happen.

On the other hand, chance is something that is not expected to happen, like an unforseen circumstance. According to the previous example, you did not know that you would find that person in his party.

To conclude, we think that fate and chance are related, however fate affects the past, the present and the future and chance only influence in a recent circumstance. Nevertheless, everything should have an explenation but in the end you decide if you want to believe it or not.

A film related to fate could be “Serendipity”:

NETFLIX

Are we becoming addicted to Netflix?

The way the world watches movies has changed dramatically in the last few years because of the man who thought up and gradually built up a company called Netflix.
Beyond other services, Netflix provides special offers as it gives one-month free charge to enclose their user's hearts. However, its true success dwells on the easiness of accessing to those files. In fact, as it is corroborated in a UK survey, what people like the most from the platform is that they can reach its content  from whatsoever device they want to.
Its series which are more commonly known as” Original” were designed as a strategy to enforce the corporation. The plausibility they are grounded on makes them crossovers. It can be seen as a petty detail, however as it was proved the enterprise wouldn’t have made it this far if it wasn’t for them, nevertheless that doesn't exclude them from facing some of the most urgent and troublesome matters that need to be settled.

There are two types of possible users, the ones who are devoted to the technology process and the other ones who are reluctant to it. Do we need to convince them to change their minds or shall we allow them to keep afloat the traditional cinema a little while more, just to ensure they disappear with dignity?

Barcelona

SIEMPRE VIDA, BARCELONA”, by Ed Sheeran

The song of Barcelona is included in the album of Divide. Ed Sheeran considerates Divide his best album because it’s different.
The lyrics of the song is a quite disconnected style, it mixes concepts and places of the Catalan capital such as La Sagrada Familia or La Rambla with sangria and words in Spanish, as for 'mamasita rica' to name the girl who sings the song and who promises a crazy night dancing and drinking wine in Barcelona.

Barcelona

He’s saying to the girl to dance with him and don’t care about nothing more, only he and she ( the girl).
[Verse 1]
Will get up, up on the dancefloor tonight
I’ve got two left feet and a bottle of red wine
Making me feel like the beat and the bassline
Are in my blood, both hands up on her waistline
Get on up, baby, dance to the rhythm of the music
Don’t care what the DJ chooses
Get lost in the rhythm with me
Please don’t close until we wanna leave it

He says that she has to trust in him and that they will be happy in Barcelona.
[Chorus]
And you and I we’re flying on an aeroplane tonight
We’re going somewhere where the sun is shining bright
Just close your eyes
And let’s pretend we’re dancing in the street
In Barcelona
Barcelona
Barcelona
Barcelona

He confess his love to her and he compares the girl with Barcelona, because he loves the girl like Barcelona.
[Verse 2]
Will get up, up on the dancefloor, move, it’s a Saturday night
I fell in love with the sparkle in the moonlight
Reflected in your beautiful eyes
I guess that is destiny doing it right
And dance like they do in the Mediterranean
Spin you around me again and again, and
You’re like something that God has sent me
I want you, baby, solamente

[Chorus]
And you and I we’re flying on an aeroplane tonight
We’re going somewhere where the sun is shining bright
Just close your eyes
And let’s pretend we’re dancing in the street
In Barcelona
Barcelona
Barcelona
Barcelona
Barcelona
Barcelona
Oh, Barcelona
So let’s pretend we’re dancing in the street
In Barcelona
He describes what the girl will see with him in Barcelona. And he underlines the places and things that he likes about Barcelona.
[Verse 3]
Las ramblas, I’ll meet you
We’ll dance around la Sagrada Familia (Barcelona)
Drinking sangría
Mi niña, te amo mi cariño (Barcelona)
Mamasita rica
Sí, te adoro, señorita (Barcelona)
Los otros, viva la vida
Come on, let’s be free in Barcelona
Las ramblas, I’ll meet you
Come on and dance with me in Barcelona
Drinking Sangría
I just want to be in Barcelona
Mamasita, rica
Feel that summer breeze in Barcelona
Nosotros, viva la vida
Siempre vida, Barcelona
